Download FSC Hub

The FSC Hub is our desktop companion app for flight simulator pilots — it checks your PC, helps you set up your sim, and puts our tools one click away. Free to install, on Windows.

Download FSC Hub for Windows

Version 1.7.6 · released October 6, 2026 · Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)

Installing

Four steps, about a minute

1

Download the installer

The button above downloads FscHub-win-Setup.exe. It’s a single file — nothing to unzip.

2

If Windows shows a blue warning, choose “More info” → “Run anyway”

This is normal and expected — see the note below for why it happens and how to check you have the real file.

3

Let it install

There are no options to pick. FSC Hub installs to your own user account and opens by itself when it’s finished.

4

Sign in with your Flight Sim Coach email

Sign in with the same email address as your FSC account and the Hub unlocks whatever your account includes. FSC Pro members get the Pro tools automatically.

About the “Windows protected your PC” warning. FSC Hub is digitally signed, but Windows SmartScreen still warns about applications it hasn’t seen downloaded many times yet — and we’re a small company, so ours is new. Click More info, then Run anyway. One thing worth knowing so it doesn’t look wrong: the verified publisher reads Michael Catalfamo, not “Flight Sim Coach.” That’s Mike, who owns and runs FSC — the code-signing certificate is issued in his name. If you see any other publisher name, don’t run it, and tell us.
Taking a coaching session?

Connect with Instructor Link

  1. Open FSC Hub on the same PC as your simulator.
  2. Choose Instructor Link and enter the callsign and aircraft type you plan to use.
  3. Check that Send my flight data to FSC says “On” when your instructor asks you to connect. It is on by default.

While sending is on, Flight Sim Coach receives your flight controls, instruments, aircraft position, callsign, and aircraft type. You can turn sending off at any time.

See what the remote-instructor tools can do.

What it does

What’s in the Hub

Set up your simulator

Field-of-view calculator, keyboard-shortcut reference, startup “load order” recipes, and FAA navdata updates for X-Plane — the setup work that usually means hunting through forum posts. The basics are free; the one-click parts are FSC Pro.

Check your PC

Run a diagnostic on your simulator PC and get a written report on what’s holding your performance back. Included with FSC Pro.

Train better

Run the instrument-scan drill on your own between coaching sessions, with a live six-pack that floats over your sim. Included with FSC Pro.

The Hub is free to install and several tools are free to use. The Pro tools unlock when you sign in with an FSC Pro membership — nothing to re-download.

The drill running on a demo flight. Yours runs on your simulator’s live numbers.

Instrument scan

Practice your instrument scan

The drill displays a live six-pack over your simulator and highlights one instrument at a time. Set the pace and fly.

Included with FSC Pro.

What works with your sim

Almost everything works the same on both. The two exceptions are called out below so you know before you install.

Keyboard-shortcut search & overlayYesYes
Instrument-scan drill & pop-out six-packYesYes
Field-of-view calculatorYes, with a catch — you get your correct angles, but MSFS has no field-of-view setting to type them into, so you match them by eye with the cockpit camera zoom.Yes — the numbers go straight into X-Plane’s own per-monitor settings.
FAA navdata updaterNo — MSFS ships its own navigation data, so there is nothing for this to update.Yes — installs the current cycle of US instrument approaches.

Works with Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 and 2024, Microsoft Store or Steam) and X-Plane 11 and 12 — tested on MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12. The Hub runs on the same PC as your simulator.

Do I need to pay to use it?

No. The Hub is free to download and several of its tools are free to use. The diagnostic reports and a few of the advanced tools are part of FSC Pro. You can install it first and decide later.

Is there a license key or activation code?

No — and there isn’t one to lose. Sign in with the email address on your Flight Sim Coach account and the Hub works out what you have access to. If you buy FSC Pro later, the tools unlock the next time you sign in.

How do I update it?

You don’t. The Hub checks for updates when it starts and installs them in the background. You never need to come back to this page — but if you do, this link always gives you the newest version.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?

Not currently. FSC Hub is Windows-only. If you use X-Plane on an Intel Mac or Linux computer for a coached session, use the legacy FSC Link X-Plane plugin. This connection is not available for Apple-silicon Macs; neither FSC Hub nor the legacy FSC Link plugin currently supports them.

Can I install it without the installer?

Yes, there’s a portable build — unzip it and run it, no installation. Use it when the normal installer cannot be used or FSC support asks you to. It won’t update itself, so you’ll need to come back here for new versions. Most people should use the installer above.

Download the portable version (.zip)

How do I uninstall it?

Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → FSC Hub → Uninstall, the same as any other program.
