About Me

I'm a former private pilot who turned to flight simulation as a way to stay sharp, keep learning, and never stop flying — at least virtually. I've been working with flight simulators since the Microsoft Flight Simulator 95 era, with deeper technical experience across Prepar3D, X-Plane, and now Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.

I fly everything from light sport aircraft to heavy iron, and I'm just as interested in the history and systems behind an aircraft as I am in the flying itself. Every platform offers its own way of escaping into the air, and I enjoy exploring all of them.

On the IT side, I bring 20 years of Managed Services experience to the table — most recently focused on Microsoft Azure cloud administration and virtual machine management. That background keeps me adaptable, detail-oriented, and always ahead of the curve when it comes to new tools, updates, and troubleshooting.

I bring that same mindset to flight simulation. I stay on top of simulator updates, known bugs, add-on conflicts, and platform changes so my clients don't have to. Whether your setup is simple or complex, my goal is to make sure your system runs cleanly, your workflow stays organized, and your time in the sim is spent flying — not troubleshooting.

Let's work together to build and maintain the simulation experience you're after.

“It’s nice to find an IT guy with sim experience that’s available during the day. He was also willing to answer quick questions in between sessions if I get stuck which I like. So far so good.”
