Toggling Between Windowed and Full Screen Modes in MSFS

General Tips

Keyboard Shortcut

Navigating through the virtual skies in MSFS is an immersive experience, especially in full-screen mode. However, there are times when you might need to multitask or quickly access other applications on your PC.

In MSFS, you can switch between windowed and full-screen modes by pressing the ALT + Enter keys on your keyboard.

Switching to windowed mode allows you to interact with other applications without needing to exit or minimize MSFS.

For example, if you only have a single monitor, you could use this shortcut to allow you to simultaneously view your simulator alongside your internet browser. This is a simple way to let you operate the simulator and fly while you’re watching a tutorial, checking the weather, or viewing charts (like shown below).
